Ask to buy Didn't work

Last night I received an email that my daughter a family member had bought a song on iTunes, ask to buy is set up but I didn't receive any notification to authorise it. And she was able to make the purchase. How is this possible?

iPhone SE, iOS 10

Hey Jim!

It looks like your daughter was able to purchase some content from the iTunes store with out your authorization. You can use the information in this link to verify that Ask to Buy is setup correctly for your daughter's account.

She logged into your account and made the purchase from yours instead of hers, nicely getting around the ask to buy feature, check your purchase history if you need to know, you may need to update your password at iforgot.apple.com
